Sounds Like: Disco, italo disco, and disco edits for this inaugural bimonthly. Free. 

Who: Vague Terrain 07 with Secret Circuit (live) 

Where: 11/3, Underground SF

Sounds Like: Melodic, experimental live set with disco influences. Prins Thomas, Suzanne Kraft, Eddie C, Tornado Wallace.

Who: Brouhaha with Kornél Kovács & DJ Seinfeld

Where: 11/3, F8

Sounds Like: Borrowed Identity, DJ Boring, Marquis Hawkes, Mall Grab. Studio Barnhus' Kornél Kovács and upcoming lofi house producer DJ Seinfeld (Lobster Theremin/Lobster Fury) headline.

Who: Adriatique & Priku

Where: 11/3, Public Works

Sounds Like: Melodic deep techno/house from Adriatique a la Fur Coat, Adana Twins, Tale of Us, and Maceo Plex. More minimal sounds in the loft from Priku, a la Ar:pi:ar, Barac, Traumer, etc. 

Who: Midterm Movement - Dance Party Benefit for SwingLeft.org

Where: 11/4, El Rio

Sounds Like: House and deep house with all proceeds going to benefit Swingleft.org. One of the last patio parties of the season at El Rio.

Who: Luminary with Machinedrum, Christina Chatfield, Vin Sol, WhoMadeWho, DJ Three

Where: 11/4

Sounds Like: Variety of sounds - IDM, techno, acid house, nu disco and more along with art fused with tech exhibits and interactive displays.

Who: Robot Ears & Direct to Earth - Phase Fatale & DJ Hyperactive

Where: 11/4, Gray Area

Sounds Like: Big, brutal techno. Similar to Len Faki, Gary Beck, Truncate, Ben Sims, Ansome, Snts, Ancient Methods, Broken English Club. 

Who: Permission to Land Season Closer: Yokoo with Rachel Torro & Peter Blick

Where: 11/5, the Midway

Sounds Like: Deep house, All Day I Dream, Bedouin, Rodriguez Jr, Nico Stojan. Last patio party of the season at the Midway. One of our favorite events, with drinks, food, and great sound.
