Fortunately for you, we’ve formed a quick and dirty guide (in no particular order) to ensure this Saturday night is everything you hope for. Listed here is a favorite set from each as well to help you make your selection.

Sounds Like: Eric Prydz, Guy J, Fehrplay

Recommended if: You like progressive house, Suara, Anjunadeep. 

Who: Face Presents: Young Marco featuring Eug

Where: Public Works (Loft)

Sounds Like: Antal, Hunee, Lauer, Palms Trax, Axel Boman, Juju & Jordash

Recommended if: You love anything Dekmantel or Rush Hour, and European DJs that rarely come stateside. Dreamy, interesting, deep cuts, microhouse with italo and balearic influences.

Who: Moony Habits & Heavy Hands: Orpheu the Wizard, Dirty Dave, Prawns & Rouse

Where: Club OMG

Sounds Like: Antal, Hunee, Intergalactic Gary

Recommended if: You follow Red Light Radio or Dekmantel, like synth-heavy disco and world music/afrobeat influenced house music, and again: European DJs that rarely tour stateside.

Who: Sure Thing: Artefakt, Korridor, and Lily Ackerman

Where: F8

Sounds Like: Kobosil, Abdullah Rashim, Etapp Kyle, Cassegrain, Voices From the Lake

Recommended if: You like cerebral, melancholic techno, Delsin, Field Records, Northern Electronics. Also recommended if you intimate two-room venues with the option for something a little lighter in the groove lounge. 

Who: Official Movement Pre-Party with Kai Alce

Where: the Boombox Affair @ Dada

Sounds Like: Defected, Osunlade, Moodymann, melding the sounds of house music from Chicago, New York, and Detroit. 

Recommended if: You’re going to Movement and like groovy and classic house sounds.

Who: Fantastic Friends: Andrey Pushkarev (ft. Sakro, Santiago Lopez, Martin Aquino)

Where: Monarch

Sounds Like: Delano Smith, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Efdemin, Adriatique, Minilogue/Sebastian Mullaert


Recommended if: You love melodic, moody, and dubby techno/house.

Sounds Like: Worthy, Sacha Robotti, Lee Foss, Shiba San. Camelphat, Bob Moses

Recommended if: You like the deeper and more melodic side of Dirtybird.
